Main Diagnostic Questions

  •  Is there communication with the module?
  •  Does the vehicle start?
  •  What’s the original problem? Please attach any codes, if any.

Important Steps Before Sending any Unit

Before sending your unit, we strongly recommend that you test, and if necessary, replace the following components to ensure accurate diagnosis and to prevent potential damage to the rebuilt ECM. Additionally, please consult with a trusted mechanic to double-check these items prior to shipment. Please note that our testing is performed on the ECM independently, outside of the vehicle. As such, we are only able to verify functionality based on the unit itself.

  •  Confirm that the problem is truly with the unit itself and not caused by external factors such as wiring, connectors, or related parts.

  •  Check for corrosion, loose or damaged connectors, and ensure all wiring is intact and secure.

  •  Test or replace components that often cause issues but are easier/cheaper to fix than rebuilding the unit. Examples. ignition coils, spark plugs, injectors, sensors etc...
